We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.

 

Our Legal department is looking for a Legal Counsel. This position will be based in Porto and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responding on behalf of the company to requirements for third party client tenders
  • Providing legal analysis, drafting and negotiation of national and international contracts for the construction and operation of renewable power plants (EPC, O&M)
  • Acting on behalf of the company to analyse and mitigate risk, to draft and negotiate contracts related to distribution activities such as agency, distribution, partnership agreements, etc.
  • Acting on behalf of the company in disputes; providing advice on legal issues such as customer and suppliers claims, pre-litigation and litigation
  • Providing generalist support for the company's legal requirements; drafting letters, policies, contract templates and legal documents; ensuring accurate legal advice is given and that procedures are followed as per current local legislative and statutory compliance
  • Keeping updated about changes and developments in case law, contract law, liability, public procurement, local legislation, and other topics

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Degree or master’s degree in law
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience
  • Experienced in projects with high complexity
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and construction law
  • Advanced English and Spanish language level
