YOUR MISSIONS

The Performance Engineer supports the analysis and monitoring of the operational performance of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) plants, contributing to compliance with contractual requirements during the project lifecycle, including commissioning, warranty, and operational phases. The role focuses on:

  • Support the preparation and execution of performance tests under the guidance of senior engineers;
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of performance analysis tools and models (primarily in Excel and basic scripting tools);
  • Collect, process, and validate operational data from SCADA systems, weather stations, and equipment logs;
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical and performance reports for EPC and O&M contracts;
  • Support root-cause analysis of performance deviations and contribute to identifying improvement opportunities;
  • Participate in technical meetings with internal teams and occasionally with clients;
  • Collaborate with O&M, Contract Management, and Engineering teams on performance-related topics.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or other relevant engineering field;
  • Basic understanding of photovoltaic plant operation and performance concepts;
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python or other scripting tools is considered a plus;
  • Interest in data analysis and performance monitoring;
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems or data visualization tools;
  • Knowledge of PV performance standards is desirable but not required;
  • English working proficiency.
