YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to the Development Manager for Uzbekistan, the Development Project Manager, based in Tashkent, has the following responsibilities:

• Identify and propose new sites;
• Evaluate the proposed new sites and submit reports for evaluation;
• Engage with the local community concerning the project(s) acceptance;
• Provide market insights and information regarding new opportunities and market developments;
• Engage with transmission and distribution network operators concerning grid intelligence, grid access and grid planning;
• Implement Voltalia’s development process for each single project;
• Budget the dev process and control its execution;
• Execute & coordinate all development tasks on time and on budget;
• Procure and select services providers, consultants and advisors;
• Implement KYCP procedures;
• Coordination with the Center of Expertise (COE) for technical issues;
• Coordination with Construction/O&M teams for budget and plant operational considerations;
• Support ASIF team with insights and requested information;
• Coordinate, prepare & submit all planning and licenses applications;
• Interact with the local planning offices, local councils, local associations and communities;
• Select and propose technical and planning advisors;
• Revises and approves all technical documentation prior to submission.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business or related major;
• Post-graduation or specialization in Project Management is a plus;
• More than 5 years working as a Project Manager or related role in Distribution, Grid operator, Electricity producer or Developer;
• Sound understanding of the Uzbek electrical system and regulation;
• Prior experience with renewable energy project development is a plus;
• Experience in dealing with external stakeholders in a professional environment;
• Advanced user of Project Management tools;
• Local language native speaker;
• English proficiency;
• Russian or Uzbek languages are a valuable plus.
