YOUR MISSIONS

Within the Development Department, the primary objective of the Project Manager is to guarantee the effective implementation and seamless operation of all activities related to the development of renewable energy projects in Tunisia.

Main responsibilities:

- Project Management:

• Prepare budget, planning and risk assessment;
• Monitor and present risk mitigation strategies;
• Manage the project documentation;
• Monitor project progresses ensuring adequate accomplishment of project schedule and budget;
• Coordinate with various stakeholders internal and external, including government agencies, investors and local communities, to ensure the smooth completion of project development reaching NTP and fulfilling the expected financial indications;

- Project Development:

• Develop a plan of action to successfully develop renewable energy project;
• Ensure project technical conception with the CoE, Power Sales, EPC and ASIF Business Lines;
• Evaluate the technical and financial potential, perform risk management and elaborate reports and presentations;
• Stay informed about and comply with local and national regulations related to renewable energy projects development;
• Coordinate and oversee all the studies, forms and documents required to obtain all administrative permits necessary for construction and operation of the project and manage the submission and progress of applications with the administrative and local authorities;

• Engage with the procurement, construction, and O&M team to fine-tune project development;
• Contribute to the discussion with the local community concerning the project acceptance;
• Contribute to market insights on new opportunities and market developments;
• Perform due diligence and KYC/KYTP procedures;
• Propose legal, technical and/or any other consultants that can benefit to the project development and implementation;
• Liaise with the internal teams to ensure a proper contribution to due diligence processes and assist in achieving financial close;
• Identify and propose new sites suitable for renewables (wind and solar) and manage all the process to obtain authorizations and licences from authorities;
• Bring to the project the expertise in QGIS and the setting up of a data base with project pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business or related major;
• Post-graduation or specialization in Project Management is a plus;
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Developer in the energy or infrastructure industry;
• At least 3 years working in a multinational/multicultural environment;
• Experience in dealing with external stakeholders in a professional environment;
• Prior experience with renewable energy and/or the Tunisian power sector is a valuable plus;
• Advanced user of Project Management tools;
• French and Arabic native speaker or proficiency;
• English or Portuguese languages are a plus.
