YOUR MISSIONS

Under the authority of the Regional CFO along with in-depth relationship with the operational manager, the Senior Financial Controller is the financial business partner for development project and operational asset in South Africa. He is fully responsible for any administrative and finance matters relating to all Voltalia affiliate companies registered and future companies in his/her region:

• Monitor all financial aspects of renewable projects/assets (development, construction, operation);
• Ensure the profitability and economic viability of projects (CAPEX, OPEX, ROI);
• Oversee cash flow and financing (banks, investors, public subsidies, partnerships);
• Ensure compliance with tax, legal and environmental standards specific to the energy sector;
• Produce financial reports for management and investors;
• Develop and monitor yearly budget, forecast and gap analysis;
• Ensures adherence to Group policies, standards and analytical structure.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree Level: Business school or post-graduate degree in Finance;
• At least 8 years of previous experience as financial controller or in project finance;
• Renewable energy sector would be appreciated;
• Knowledge Areas:
  

  • General accounting and analytical approach;

     

  • Financial modelling;

     

  • Tax education;

     

  • Audit processes;

     

  • IFRS;

     

  • Advanced use of Excel and query tools; Onestream knowledge is a plus;

     

  • English proficiency.
