YOUR MISSIONS

Renvolt is seeking an High-Voltage Engineer to support O&M development and provide technical expertise across HV substations and PV sites. The role includes maintenance optimization, fault support, and governance of HV safety rules and procedures (PTW, LOTO, switching), ensuring safe and reliable operations across our portfolio.

HV O&M Business Development

• Develop and structure HV substation O&M activities;
• Define and optimize maintenance plans;
• Review and critically assess third-party maintenance reports;
• Identify performance improvements and technical solutions.

HV Technical Support (PV Sites)

• Provide HV technical support across PV plants;
• Support fault diagnosis and troubleshooting;
• Validate maintenance activities on HV equipment;
• Perform site inspections and technical assessments.

HV Engineering Authority

• Develop, implement and govern Electrical Safety Rules and SAP/AP framework;
• Define and continuously improve HV procedures (PTW, LOTO, HV switching);
• Assess, validate and authorize SAP/AP competencies;
• Act as SAP or support SAP duties for HV operations;
• Ensure compliance and full traceability of HV activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Engineering Degree (Electrical, Renewable Energy, Computer Science or Data Science); Master’s degree is a plus;
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Ordem dos Engenheiros (preferred);
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with focus on HV systems;
• Experience with maintenance management processes (preferred);
• Knowledge of utility-scale PV plant design (preferred);
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems;
• Availability to travel worldwide, short-term mobility required;
• Valid driving licence;
• English proficiency (mandatory).
