YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to the Country Manager and managing the Development Project team based in Tashkent, the main responsibilities of the Development Project Coordinator are:

• Complete screening, scoping and pre-application activities for new projects;
• Prepare project budgets and development plans in cooperation with internal teams;
• Manage day-to-day project activities and coordinate contacts with subcontractors and relevant public authorities;
• Implement Project Development Guidelines and principles, and analyze, map and deploy detailed project development roadmaps;
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and within scope;
• Manage project managers and monitor ongoing projects;
• Assess project technical feasibility and propose measures to reduce risks, timelines and implementation costs;
• Ensure resource availability, timely allocation and alignment with planning and budget;
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
• Manage and report all changes in project scope, schedule and costs on time;
• Report and escalate issues to Management and the Steering Committee as needed;
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
• Prepare presentations and reports for different committees as needed;
• Maintain and promote the company’s values, strengths and reputation across business lines and markets of responsibility;
• Engage strategically with policy stakeholders and lobby in support of Voltalia’s interests;

• Manage the Development team in Uzbekistan.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in a technical field and/or business.
• Excellent knowledge of the electrical sector, regulation and regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge and relevant experience in the renewable energy field.
• Proven track record in leading development teams for renewable energy projects.
• Strong relevant experience in team management.
• Fluent in English and Russian.
• Computer proficiency.
• Driving License.
