Accountant Senior (m/f) M/F

Our Finance & Administration Business Line is looking for a Senior Accounting, who will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage month end closing tasks, controls, and report under IFRS norms.
- Control and report the Inter-companies flows and perform the necessary validation on a monthly basis.
- Perform a monthly GL analysis on local COA and ensure that all postings are done on a correct and proper manner.
- Be responsible to submit company’s financial statements on the Group consolidation report tool (HFM), on a monthly basis, assuring the IFRS harmonization between Local and Group COA.
- Book closing journal entries (Journal entries and IFRS harmonization’s) and set-up the closing file for the auditors.
- Liaise with the AP´s department, and others internal departments, to ensure a smoothly incorporation of the process and business.
- Be responsible for Tax Computation and Returns: VAT, CIT, WHT, Local Tax Forms (Modelo 22; IES…) are done and loaded on a proper manner following local requisites under the help of local consultants if needed.
- Be responsible for Monthly Closing accounts and respective monthly report.
- Support for account analysis “Invoice in reception and conference”.
- Analysis of current accounts of suppliers/clients and ensure all accounting entries.
- Ensure INE, Intrastat and similar reports.
- Maintaining of fixed asset data.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, or finance co-related.
- Portuguese Certified Accountant.
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting.
- Accounting knowledge (preferably in International Accounting Standards – IFRS).
- International experience will be a plus.
- Good level of Portuguese Tax knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office, with MS Excel and MS Word domain.
- English proficiency (mandatory).
